Breathing Free

I cannot sleep seeing you fading away
With all those colourful shadows of sundown
Burning me down to grey dust so pale

I lose myself in the darkness
Because all I hear now is silence

Don’t tear me down
Why are you so far
When I need you here and now!
Oh, don’t leave me alone
You are all I have, my love

Rain falls down on my face
Pouring with cold tracks
Soothing my pain, carving deeper old scars
As I try to forget the smile under the stars

Moonlight paints with silver upon the dark walls
Why is it so sold within my soul?
Where is your comforting warmth to shelter me now?

I live in hell when you are so far
Just come to me through the call of times
With one shooting star

Walking through the white nights I still feel you near
Holding my hand under the stars unseen
Silver hair sparkling in burning rays of setting sun
And I cannot breathe looking in these eyes gazing at me
With so tender feel, untold undiscovered love

And going home I cannot hide flowing tears
No goodbye smile, no farewell glance
As the heart will stop if I look back at you once

You fade away as I’m gone
But once I see the dark shadow behind the corner
I lose myself again drowning forever
In those eyes of all sparkling white pure starlight

In the veil of the night you come to me
And my heart finally relieves with love and dreams so real
While your hand holds me tight and I can breathe free
