Perfect Light

A painter, naive dreamer
Forever dwelling in time
With his perfect light
Blurry lines, silent strokes

All life running for perfect light

Leaving the real-living behind
What do you see?
The flowers, pure colours
Flashes of yellow and green
And red and purple
Trembling beneath the pale sky-blue
Lifetime flows by
Reminding me it’s all about the light
Follow the sun, magic light dwelling in waves
Bathing on leaves
Sparkling deep below in whispering dales
A painter wandering through all his life
Searching still for that perfect light
What do you see?
The flowers, pure colours
Flashes of yellow and green
And red and purple
Trembling beneath the pale sky-blue
Splashes of life in this cold morning dew
All the misty bays at dawn shivering still
In a taken once perfect scene
Now I walk through the thoughts
Pale moments of life
Run through me with an endless flow
To find one perfect rhyme
To catch this perfect light
A writer in me searches forever the line
To describe all the lifetime
As that painter searched for his perfect light
The flowers, pure colours
Flashes of yellow and green
And red and purple
Trembling beneath the pale sky-blue
Splashes of life in this cold morning dew
All the misty bays at dawn shivering still
In a taken once perfect scene
