All The Whiteness

Suddenly sunrise fell
Covering dreams with burnt grey ashes
Pale day redeemed unseen in the veil
Of misty ghosts of sweet temptation

It’s slowly fading in the end of the day
And all the whiteness has gone away

She is standing there, so far
Walking in the starlit bound
Dark waves caught by the wind

She’s so far now from me
Still in her thoughts and dreams
Her eyes are looking through the horizon now

Searching for the one sign
Of sundown drowning beyond
She tries to kiss the blue sky
Floating beneath the sleepless world

She is so close, but is she mine
None like her in the whole world to find

Like a dream in slow motion scene
Quivering still in the deep
She revives the strings of the heart of me

Like a dream she’s flowing into my mind
Is this real or again just a fantasy?
She’s calling my name through the lullaby

August rests deep in October’s embrace
Singing now of far lands redeeming us back to December white grace

Far beyond sundown’s dream
It’s slowly fading in the end of the day
And all the whiteness has gone away…
