Where The Journey Starts

I forgot the questions I never dared to ask
Beyond the promises the ones torn from the heart

Like a wounded lark
I fall against the dawn
Vanishing still in the dusk

Right beyond the shiny stars
Veiling all the scars
Hidden deep in our hearts
We fall into sweet fate’s arms

Singing still the verses of long-forgotten songs
All the anthems of lands ever lost

In the end we are gone together, burnt forever
In the dark we are bound all together

Lullabies sung in the night and I see the fire
It’s flaming beneath the rocks, high mountain’s side
As if the memories came once to life
To dream us back to the days lying now higher
Than we could ever reach again

Right beyond the shiny stars
Veiling all the scars
Hidden deep in our hearts
We fall into sweet fate’s arms

Winter wind whispers now the name of the one
Forever gone, but still deep alive
The one weeping with me under the trees
Awakening me from all nightmares unseen

Right beyond the shiny stars
Veiling all the scars
Hidden deep in our hearts
We fall into sweet fate’s arms

Winter wind calls me to meet him on the other side
Forever the one, the only untouched love
Saving me from the fall after the darkest days of my life

Winter wind whispers his name to me again
And I follow the call
Knowing nothing of the end
Through the rainfalls
Into the storm
I follow the whispering inside my head
Recalling the song in dearest voice

Right beyond the shiny stars
Unveiling all the scars
We fall into sweet fate’s arms
So there is where the journey starts
