One-winged Dream

Born way far from the lands I long for
I will see you guiding me into the awe
Far away beyond the cliffs
Where I do still belong to with a one-winged dream

Far beneath the mountains and dales
I will dream once again
Of stories and tales

Your hand leads me astray through the dark
My own enchanted forest
Long-forsaken woods intoxicating the mind

Heart will resist where mind is blind
Following the right
When it all goes wrong
I will be there for you
Awaiting here for your call

As high as I fly
Among the moorland and mountains high
I will redeem the hoping heart

Dreams are fulfilled if the soul dwells relieved
When child within sings you a lullaby while you sleep
So as the heart always knows when it’s loved back in time

When I still belong to this scene in a one-winged dream
In pale morn’s serene far beneath the moment so dear
Above the wishes I hold so deep for others remaining unseen

Born way far from the lands I long for
I will see you guiding me into the awe
Far away beyond the cliffs
Where I do still belong to with my long-lost feels
