Guardians Of The Woods

Silver veil of fog
Wind whispers in leaves
Forest sleeps until dawn
While the stars shine still

Play, flute
Dance, moonlit shades
I hear the call of guardians of the woods

You don’t see me
Guarding your sleep
You don’t know I’m here
Walking around chasing dark fear
But you feel serene lingering

Falling star guides astray
Where the road runs ahead
Memories from the past never go away
Living within till the end

Shine, moon
Call, cold wind
I feel the touch of guardians of the woods

You don’t hear my call
Yet knowing I’m always nearby

You feel the presence serene
Wherever you go I will follow you into the darkest dream

You see the silver paths underneath
It’s me an artist painting them there for you
To guide you through
Dark silence of enchanted waters so dim

Into the gloom
Falling, cascading with autumn rains
They’re coming, guardians of the woods

You hear the call of me
Seeing me silently walking in starlight
As I sing the song of long-forgotten time
Dancing for you in silver moonlit dream

For spring dwelling song
With sweet April wind
They come at dawn
Chasing the winter dream
To drown into silver bloom
As we flow with petals under the moon
Becoming guardians of the woods
