Shade Of A Dream

Shade showed the face

Upon the starlit meads

Midnight lost its silver grace
Wind whispers in leaves
Moonlight strokes my dreams
A nightingale sleeps now
No lullaby tonight
For a girl longing for light
Hands hold me tight
Eyes shine so bright
Intention grows as if it’s the end of the world
You touch my skin unveiling the feel
Diving deeper into the thrill
Losing a sigh beneath the blue high
Until the dawn hides beyond the stars
The dream revealed your face to me
I know who you are in this pale real
Until the desire grows I feel it flows
Among the dark to light the heart
While your touch revives me from this frozen still
Into a dream shadows will turn
And pain and tears shall silently burn
