Mountain Road

She rests under the oak
Her lullabies dwell with starlight far above
Sheltering her love

Ash-tree forest embraced those lands
Where she sleeps now
All alone betrayed by the break of day

Birds of beauty yet unseen
Sing her back to sleep
Withering in her fading weep
Scouting with rage her cold fear

Voices unheard tell her long stories
Of long-forgotten days
Never trodden ways
Calling her now back to darkening memories

She rests under the blackthorn
Moonlight full of silver ever lost
Stars glaring with glow of forgotten gold

Nights turn cold
Days are gone in mist of autumn
Forests lie now behind
Mountains are ahead
High restless guardians below age’s way
All covered with snow

The mystery of his kingdom
Deep and dark
Remains unseen
Hidden still
Beyond the bars of her memory

Heart keeps a dear song of ever lost home
Dreaming of day to come back to the dear door
She sees that so deep in eyes gazing with dark times score
Trying to save the soul forever so dear to her

Passion remains within while days flow by
Here is the mountain, here is the sky
Starlit dream of her heart
Her love looks right behind
So deep in her eyes

Heart beating hard losing last beat in a kiss
More precious than all ever lost gold
The wish, the real, the bliss
All entwined falling deeper into the awe
Ever lost I am now in deep eyes’ world
