Sundown Dream

Betrayed by the past
Longing for the future unseen
Devouring all the dark lust
I hate myself for a once dear dream

I would fly above the skyrim
Awaiting far below the edge of times
Playing with the wind
Somewhere on stranger tides
I would bear a hope…

Sailing away with white waves
I dream back to the past
Breaking the ice of forever torn days
Echoing now with the name of the last

Running with the wind
I laugh at my fear
Blinded once by a thrill
I guarded a wrong dream
Of dark lust of the world
Where was no drop of hope

I call for a moment lost ere pale dawn
Caressing the purity of awe
Where the last innocent days were gone

I would fly above the skyrim
Turning water into wine
And drops of time to the birds snow-white
Recalling a vast world of dreams
Until you come awaken searching for me

Whisper my name
Call through the wind
Recall my face in sunset
Cascading on your heart
Embracing you so tight
With silent sundown weeping at the edge of the sky
Revive a memory of me

I would fly above the skyrim
Awaiting far below the edge of times
Playing with the wind
I would bear a hope to see the eyes…

I will fly above the skyrim
Awaiting far below the edge of times
Playing with the wind
Somewhere on stranger tides
I will walk these lost shores at the edge of day
Bearing a hope to see you again

I will fly with the wind dancing at the edge of the sky
Knowing I will see you beyond the mountain road
You will stroke every dream with care looking at me with sapphire eyes
