Snow And Cold

“Close the door
Don’t let them in…”

This path leads to the dark
Into the blackest nights you’ve seen
Don’t go there, it’s not for your heart
You deserve a better dream

My soul was blackened by betrayal
And heart was sold too cheap
With a first snowflake goes last farewell
To the far lands lost feelings flee

Afore the doorstep I see the ghost
Of the past
Lost dream of trust
Herald to the heart of snow and cold
Calling for me
Never to lose a feel

As I feel its call within
Venom of darkness poisoning the deep
Of heart and soul once pure, now all covered with ashes of sin

Take me and sail away with me
Ere dawn unseen
Сlose the door, don’t let them in

Remain the story untold
Be a mystery unsolved
Forever frozen snow
Within eyes enchanted by December cold

I’ve lost all tears and I’m ready to go
To the valleys of heather and rocks, breathtaking world
Painted once between ocean and sea in the North

As I hear your voice flowing through the awe
Heart once turned to stone
Now longs for your call that I follow

“Beyond dawn I follow your call
Don’t let them in, just close the door…”
