Wanderers

Ancient tales wrote the last verse

Sunrise sipped away all the tears from the world
Chase the shades
Upon my head
Caress the hands
Stroking the earth’s shell
Drink from me now
Take this path
Share the high road
Ere sundown, ere dawn

I will follow you into the blue
While the wheel of fortune turns
I will shelter you from frozen dew
While flame of time still burns
Through the woods and over the rivers
Far across far valleys
I will follow your path till the end of days
I walk in the fields
I sing for your heart
Caressing the dreams
Stroking tender vibes of your soul
Writing another world in one unsung song
Nomads, wanderers
Apart, but still side by side
Yet never left torn behind
Souls once entwined
Together till the end
