Path Into Moonlight

A lonely traveller
Dreaming of stars glowing in velvet sky
Lost wanderer
Counting snowflakes beyond dark veil
My path goes far
Across the rivers and fields
Over the forests and hills
To the lands longing apart
Far from a lonely heart
Moon smiles through the clouds
Lightens my way back home
Stars paint a path through the darkness
Leading me to dear soul
My path goes far
Under the silver rivers of moonlight
Beneath starlit cover of sky
Where you walk on the edge of the world
Where dew caresses pale dawn
And heart still bears a hope
Moonbeam strokes my heart
Watching a journey there and back again
Deep eyes of blue sea glittering with stars
Flying into the dream and far away
Silver moon face smiles and dwells
Upon the dark silhouettes of the night
Withering silently with a story heart still tells
