The Day Will Come

Far beyond the woods unwithered
Where the sun never touches the ground
Where rivers are dark flowing across icy blue heaven
A lonely boat sails calm waters of winds and snow

Ever lone shores
Veiled with mist
Highlands so far
Highlands of cold
The heart ever dreamed
Entwined with a star

Eternity watched the flow of time
Immortal, unseen
It pours down the stream
Of golden touch of the setting sun

Forever it will sail
Far away, far away
To the shores lost in time
Where I wait patiently

I know the path takes time
As the road lies so far
Over the world dwelling in dawning sun

I know here’ll come a day
When the boat sails back home
The day will come, the day will come
