The One From The Past

Midnight embraced the hills
Lonely mountains and dark dales
Hollow moon weeps above shadow of trees

He walks around my home

Watching me in my sleep
Don’t let him in
Nor let him go
He walks singing an old sad song
Ancient luring call
Don’t follow him, he came for me
Haunting me in every night dream
Don’t look at him, he is here because of me
The one from the past
Darkness all of my heart
The first and the last
One who wrote and mocked my path
He growls and hisses
Clawing at my door
Once fooled he wants to have back what never was his

Don’t be afraid
I will follow him, but not you
All will fade
The last of my nightmares
I will go with him, but never you

I dance with one of my deepest fears
Letting him laugh at my wounded heart
His claws tear it ripping off my chest
Let me go with him so I could come back

Let me go with him so I could return
Once again back to you, my love
The one with whom my heart will forever belong
