Upon The Dawn

Flute sings quietly
Through the night it weeps
A long long story
Of lost lost dreams

Violin drinks all the sorrow
Away from my heart
Drying the tears of my unleashed soul

Silently I sing a sad melody
Through the dream of farewell night
Letting the years loose
Along with a lost memory
Forever path to the meads all in bloom
Dwelling deep in the heart

I see a tale in your eyes
Cascading with white on me
Waves and snow entwine
Upon the dawn of still

Highlands and meads
Woods and hills
All the memories still
I try to hide from the heart of a dream

Candle fades with first star’s light
Reviving a feel within so deep
So I weep a promise through the night

A dream of you
Upon the dawn
To caress sweet bloom
Of long-forgotten shore
