The Cold Wind

The cold wind haunted
Songs of wars forgotten in years
It took old verses away
From innocent tears

From darkness evil that spreads in heart
From eyes of midnight
But never I will escape the touch of fate

Cold of that mare still haunts me deep
Embracing me with veil of oblivion
Tearing my soul with claws of ice

The cold wind howled
Above the snows white
My name none has called
Through darkest midnight

But I called through winds and cold
Like a prayer whispered sacred name of you
And waited until the end of storms
So I could see clear sky within dear eyes so blue

The cold wind took my soul
Away to you through the dusk of pale days
Where yours one becomes a home
To my heart scared with all old wounds

Where your soul will guide mine
Until the very end of time

Where your soul will guard mine one
From cold and sorrow…
