Just A Dream

Awakened by the wind
It was a dream, it was a dream
You are here holding me dear
It was a scene, it was a scene

The ice, the cold
Red drops on snow
It wasn’t real
Not now, nor then
But a nightmare unseen

Winter drew the teartracks
Eyes look back East
Find me, cover me
That’s not the end

On ice cold ground
Pale snow now rests
Erasing the steps
All is now in white bound

Feel me, follow the light
Never go for the dark
Seek the ever lost heart

I see your shadow
I feel your breathe
Deep in the mountain realm
Beyond the golden halls
I lie now still in your arms so dear

You kiss me deep and smile so kind
Shine upon the night
Through silver moonlight

It was a dream, it was a dream…
You are here, holding me dear
Embracing me with warmth of yours….

Wind whispers your name
And I sing again
Watching the stars
Still lying in your arms
