Wasn’t A Dream

One dream to become real
I wish it was never a dream

Misty shores, pale dawn, silence upon the snow
Frozen silver of fast mountain river
Flows now no more
Waves gone with first ice upon autumn glow

I hear the song
Flowing through memory deep
I dream in this awe
Walking alone back home
I wander along a long long road

Through the dream
I wish to be real
A tale with a different end

I hear your voice calling my name
Looking in sapphire blue eyes
I lose myself deep inside
In these lakes, sparkling eternity’s gaze
I fear I won’t ever find myself again

Diving deeper into the blue
I find myself in a tale
One I dream to be true
In far lands, fantasy world
Where I once met you

One dream to believe
I wish this one to be real

One dream to become real
I wish it wasn’t a dream…
