Things So Small

Moment is too short to feel

Life is too long to wait
For a perfect time to dream
When it comes real
Memories remain in things so small
Turning an acorn to a precious token
Nothing more, but one last oath
I see no fear in eyes of blue
Smile shines upon the pale dawn
And I’m ready to dive into this beautiful dream
As time weeps back silver dew
While tears turn into sweet awe
Gentle hand will hold the heart of me
Memories will remain still
Upon the moment so lone
Before a dream turns into a feel
Moonlight revives your face to me, but once
One midsummer night
The eyes of sapphire blue and grace of all fallen kings
But was there a drop of truth in those deep wish of a heart?
Reflections in eyes, silver of stars far above
Mirror of lake and darkness of woods
Cover me while I weep through silent dawn
Word will remind of days
Long gone far away
Leaves will whisper the tales
Of long-forgotten lands
Winds will revive a memory
Love dwelling still in dear story
Moment is short, life is long
I will wait for you
On this shore bearing a hope
I will dream silently of you
A promise I whispered once to pale moon
Beyond the forest’s embrace I pray the stars
To guard a very dream of you
