Dawn whispers last farewell to a dream
I saw the last scene
Falling beyond the curtains
Lost crestfallen hopes
Soul flows back to that realm
Where everything was real
Never pale, never in vain
Where was no pain
But the moment is fading away
I hold your hand
Time turns to sand
Through thin air last cry breaks
Leaving cold tracks on my face
I still hold your hand
While the dream withers
Slowly fading away
I won’t let you go
Tears flow through this cold
Don’t leave me alone, no…
Life kissed my forehead still
Beyond the grey sky I see a silent realm
No song flows, no dream longs
As day runs to its end
And I see last rays caress skyrim with red
So the sundown falls
You breathe life into me again
And I feel this in my veins
The dream, the hope, the truth
Reviving everything I did for you
Hold me tight until the morning comes
As night will end once
But then sundown brings you back to me
I will wait on this shore looking at clear sky blue
Dreaming of real where I see you
