Soul My Home

I send a wish through lands
Across yonder green dales
Over silver streams
And over the hills

Take me away, morning star
Take me away from this part

Take me to the mill by the stream
Give me wings
Let me dance on the edge of the world
Show me the door that will take me back home

Give me no gold
I need no treasure hoard
No promises undone
My soul seeks home
The one another soul could give

I wish you come here
To lie with me under the old oak
To share with me one stroke

And gaze at stars so far, yet so near

I wish you were here
To share with me one bed
One life before the end
I wish you so dear

One soul to guard my heart
One soul to become my home
Wandering through ages apart
Seeking a long-forgotten hope
Eyes full of stars, glance of midnight blue
Lifetime search just to find you

One heart to ever forgive
Before endless eternity turns into forever believe
One soul to become my home
To replace years so lonesome and long

One soul to become my home
Your soul to be my one and ever home
One heart to become all the world

I send a wish every night
Through the cold air of winter to fly
Over the hills and dreams
To reach far tides of the realm
With a fallen star
Where you are…

Dear soul, my only home
