Starlight Dream

Beyond the woods golden rays glow
Sundown whispers last farewell to the world
And day sinks in twilight in motion slow

Green waves of grass beneath the mountain high
In dales wind sings a song
Of flaming fire of the heart
Longing for a hope

I see a first star twinkling upon the sky rim
Silver light sparkling like a childish dream

A whisper shivers in the night
Beyond the golden light
I see reflection of a dream
In your eyes it burns
The whole world turns into a glimpse
Of yesterday I turned loose

Beyond the shadows
Lost realm dwells in awe
Mirror of time never lets it go

I whisper my heart to you in pure starlight
As this dream sparkles deep within your eyes
Promises undead beyond the cradle of the night
My life dwells deep within your willing heart

Midnight will tell a story of old
