Winter In Spring

Dark trees along the path
Snowflakes like fallen stars
Coiling around in their white light
Pale sky above drew grey
Clouds locked all sunshine
Showering last winter snow
Upon ground still cold

White cover will melt another day
With first spring sun ray
And I will see your smile again

Blue sky will bloom upon dark trees
With white clover sweet growing beneath
And I see again your eyes shining back at me

I feel you near, my dear
My guardian, a warrior still
With eyes colour of sky
With smile brighter than sun
One glance to melt the ice
Embrace to turn winter to spring
My soul dwells in peace when you’re near

Just stay close, love
Don’t disappear…
