Back to back, side by side
We meant to fight
From the very start
The story was doomed
I searched among the fallen
And took a look among all living
But nowhere I could see
The shade of dear eyes
Ere dawn shall rise again I will find you
No hand will take you away from me
No turn of fate, no evil doom
As dawn always follows the darkest night
You saw the days of glory
When realm shone in its golden glow
Before the fall
Before the dart of destiny
Away now path takes you
To the part of the world you’ve never been before
Away to the lands beyond the blue
So far from halls hewn in cold stone
Away now road leads you, my love
Away from lands of gems and gold
Away from fire and death
Away from even a dream of lost home
Days of darkness came upon time of light
Spark is lost in the middle of the night
Come back now to my arms
Sleep with me under the stars
Again I will hear your breath calm and still
Caressing with silver light your deepest dream
Beyond the edge of the world
I will cover you from eternal cold
