Eyes Colour Of The Sea

Tides of Saturday dream brought you to me
A lonesome feel, a wandering thrill
Shivering deep in me, a dwelling chill
But a memory of lost spring wind

Dream of what I’ve lost long ago
Broken pieces left by the storm
Cold and wretched ghost of hope

Heart dwells again with a pulled string
Golden harps strung in silence still
Make me feel while my soul cannot sing
Melt the ice beyond my core as if I were still real

Dream is a blur, world turned to stone
Memories fade at pale dawn
As if there’s no way far beyond

Soul believes where mind curses still
Heart caressing a feel of evergone dream
Whispering to me “Believe as it was real…”
As my wish has the eyes colour of the blue so deep

So I sail back home with a spark upon lost scene
Hope is clear where real is blurry serene
As my love has the eyes colour of the Sea
