Tales whisper in years
Of all kingdoms fallen and risen
Passed now to forlorn days
A song forgotten flows through the midnight still
Weeping the story of long-fallen folk
Legends are true, tales are real
Wondering heart seeks still for a hope
Long-gone are those days of ever strong will
Ere silence falls, ere dawn calls
Lost melody dwells upon a mirror of hope
To those fallen in time heart still belongs
Grief and sorrow coil inside with memory pale
Tears never fall again from eyes hidden by veil
Yet dreamer within caresses a hope for
A heart wondering beneath a white spark of awe
Paths take us ahead through the perils of the world
Leading us away from the doorstep of dear home
To the lands so far lost deep beyond
I know the tales of old
Silent believes and memories
Ancient oaths, all prophecies untold
Old songs within my heart I know
All sung and yet ones still beyond lost melodies
Caressing them dear within a heart of all fantasies
Silver glow of the stars shines above
Tell me what it is but love
If heart longs for another one so hard
