White Tides

Let me face the dawn
Before I drown into dark oblivion
Cascading upon me with waves so cold
Beyond the edge of the world
So I could be forgiven

Don’t shed your tears, kind child
You are the bravest one
Don’t cry for me as I was blind

Dark night will fade before fair light of day
It will fall again
And sun will rise once more
Above the hills and dales
Caressing a hope for us both

Don’t shed your tears, my dove
Another dawn will shine above
Don’t cry for me in vain
My love, my nightingale

Bright star will lead us back to dear tides
Through the darkness of the night
Once again to stroke pure light
Gleaming shine of white stars

So we will find our path through the bound of darkness
We turn our sails back home to the shores pure and white
To dwell again together under silver glow of the stars
