Heart Of Elvenking

I see the dawn upon cold dew
I see the light so pale on leaves pale blue
But this spring won’t warm my heart of you

Years dwell in every leaf
With teary melody
Holding still the void of belief
In every memory

I see the stars and walk in pure light
I see the sky, blue velvet covered with gems so white
Though heart longs for lost secret tides

Whispering now to the wind
All I feared to say to you
My heart now dwells all dark and dim
Of you are not my only queen
And never should be

My heart hopes and bleeds for one last time
To see you here, flowing by my side
My dear love, please come to this dream of mine

Heart made of stone
Soul hewn out of ice
Eyes sparkle like stars
And song flows through pale dawn

You are so far
My dear star
Just sing to me once more, my love…
