Days Of Old

I look at your window in fear

What if I am not your dear any more?

Drawing closer, dwelling so near
I hear your voice behind the door

Long years it was hidden
The world I caressed deep within
From eyes so cold
From cruel days of old

Longing to see you in a sleep
I forget my fear before my wish

Before you wake up from my weep
I will leave you a kiss

Deeper than ancient wounds
My love flows to you
Stronger than mountains my love is
In flames and fires my heart longs
For your eyes of sky blue
Desire of old days unsung in songs
Lies now in your sweet lips

From claws of that story I run
Into embrace of my dear one
My moon and stars, my golden sun
Never let me be gone

Rest, love, I will guard your sleep
Forever watching your dreams
Rest, love, I will stay here still
In awe I dwell with you caressing your fantasies

Until dawn I dwell here for you
Before first rays rise upon cold dew
