Seasons Dance

Streams dwell frozen beyond white tides
And stars reflect in mirror of glowing ice

Autumn winds blow through winter frost
Northern whisper among silver bloom is lost

Seasons all dance on fair glade
Dwelling with fair spring song
The fairest one was ever made
Pure voice sings it through dawn

A maiden in innocent dream glow
Her voice is sweet and eyes shine bright
Reflecting in still of dark April night
Her heart flames in eternal awe

In her soul storm thunders strong
In her eyes rain flows with fading song

Golden October kissed her lips all in bloom
April laughed teasing his deep desire
Dancing with December beneath the gloom
And June embraced her love with midsummer fire

Frozen streams glow in flames
Snow blooms on first spring petals
Maiden sings with two couples
Sharing their merry-go-round dance
When the one walks out of shadows

Her heart dwells with love and longing
As she has been waiting too long for him…
