Prayer Of Starfall

On frozen grass
In the forest I lie alone
Gazing at stars
Though heart fears
Cold fear still claws down my soul
Darkness within won’t let it go

Along the lake shore
Alone I walk in the dark
As the stars are cold and far

Waves are but eternity blue
Of the eyes never seen
Midnight sky is endlessness vast
Silver of the moon
Blooms silently above me
So I see my road back home at last

Along the shore
Alone in the dark
Lost in desire and hope
I dream and sink
In pure light of the stars

Midwinter turns to sweet spring upon your eyes
As you walk by me from the shadows
Carry me home but through all ancient lullabies

Heart frozen once could be healed
By another one even but in a dream

Be my life, my only light
To lead me back home
My song through the night
Silent prayer in starfall
Keep me safe and warm
As nights are cruel and cold

Be my light to lead me back home
Be my star, my love, my path
My song to take me home…
