Falling asleep with tears in my eyes
I will awake at dawn and realize
You are gone with midnight tides
Take me with you, my dear heart
Share with dawn your inner light
Bring me new horizon so we could sail together
Calm waters beyond the edge of the world
Take me with you
Don’t leave where I cannot flow
Where is no hand to cover
Nor to soothe you
Fate keeps two heart beating as one
And lifepaths entwined
As we’re never too far, never really apart
Don’t go where I cannot fly
To hide you in my arms
To fall from the skies
Embracing you tight
Let me follow you one last time
Don’t leave me in cold
This wound won’t be healed
Scars will never go
Ever torn in their bleed
So I pray in tears under cover of the night
To reach you now and hold you tight
Forever and ever by my side…
