To find the path of life
Enter the dark
To know the perils of time
Cascading from midnight sky
Through dreams it flows
Tearing out my mind
As fear has the sharpest claws
Nightmare is gone with first rays of dawn
Leaves sing me a lullaby, a soothing song
As heart dwells in ever hope it was just a dream
Falling asleep again I see
A fading memory upon the broken realm
Silver light of stars above
Whispers to me of endless love
Upon the memory high
I sail across blue velvet of the sky
And memories flow with light through moonlit tide
Pale white of waves draws upon the shore
Darkening so far beyond the rim of blue silk of sky
Waters calm mirror below caressed by full moon
I walk along the shore, so far from home
To catch first sight of ships so white
In midnight sweet
Within a dream
I hear the voice singing to me
A song of life, a song of sleep
Beyond the world’s edge, beyond reality’s rim
I see your eyes reflecting still
In waves of crystal clear sea
Where nightmare turns into a sweetest dream
