White Tides

White shores are calling now
As nothing remains behind
Soul longs for fair island beyond the sea

I see the tides
White mountain towering high
Piercing the clouds

I hear seagulls’ calling
For ones who are lost in wandering

Sweet meadows, emerald dales
Endless spring through ever long days
Sparkling waters dwelling in shiny light
Velvet sky all covered with stars

Far lands uncovered by dream
Lost tides unleashed by wild memory
Is that all unseen?
Is that all hidden by white scenery?

White sails are turned to the West
Song of the wind, quivering waves
Purest of all melodies ever sung
Flows through ever longing heart
Taking us home

White tides are calling
Tall ships are leaving now
To take us back home
