The Voice Without A Call

I hear the voice without a call
A mere choice to walk alone
No hand to guide, no heart to learn
This is the road we used to go

I see the shore without lights
A starless night dwells upon my eyes
But heart yet feels a distant hope
Beyond this shadow of silent core

A moment lost in quivering sea
Forgotten world of hopeless dream
Though sails take me there back to thee

I hear the voice without a call
And sense the presence behind the door
The feeling rises within breaking the wall
I know this moment, have seen it before

Lost in the waves I sail to this calm dark shore
In hopes to find my long lost home
Within the whole world I know still I’m not alone

You hear no voice, but just a call
Within your heart it dwells alone
A ghostly whisper, a poor one word
So deep within your lonesome soul
