Endlessness

Once upon a time here stood kingdoms in all their might
Where life was glorious and bright
Before ages turned cold
Dwelling in ruins and war

Fair kind fell from dragonfire and swords
Rotting in their own blood and dust
For sins and betrayals of their masters

They call us malice, black waves of evil
Never trying to see what is hidden within

In this tale old as time
We wander alone
Hiding in shadows of the night
Ever dark
Sailing to lone lustful shores
We will see
The tides of ever lost kingdom
Once bright and mighty
We will hear
The songs forever forlorn
Sung in frozen halls of dark citadel
Hewn deep in northern mountains

Hand in hand we go into the night
You guide me with endless flows of time

I see the light where they see only darkness
Deep in your soul I see flames
Eternal desire in eyes, mirror of endlessness
