They say the world is cruel
But why then there is a thrill
Deep in my soul?
What do they know of pain and desperation?
What have they ever heard of heart devotion?
Beyond the skies, above the earth
I hear the call of dear angel, my once lost hope
With twilight heart dwells now all mirth
I had once deep in my soul
Before the skies fell apart
I’d lost my heart
Before the birth I lost my part
The purest vibe of soul flies now far
Somewhere I can neither see it, nor find
Wishing to know where you are
Where do you walk, my angel bright?
Upon the clouds, in starlit high
Or your steps touch the earth again
Tell me where you are
They say I will find someone one day
But how if my heart dwells so far away
Ever spring will sing for us its pure song
Crystal clear like dew at dawn
Different paths will entwine for us in one
Before the world falls down
Again the light will shine for hearts longing for the only truth
You know this simple part when two lonely souls too long endure
And in the end all boundaries fall unleashing the bare core to love deeply, purely
Discover my name, read it in my eyes
Find the way to me through the time without lies
Be again my only twilight angel
