One Who Walks In The Night

Tears fall from the sky
Midnight cries upon the door to nothing
Deep in the night dwells a sigh
And the silence breaks

Embrace the dark
I feel inside
Filling me
Luring, deceiving
Coiling around
Taking me down
Help me to see the light

Along the shore I run
To face again the setting sun
Painting clouds in purple and red
With a song of fading sunset

You sing through the winds
The mountains and fields
Over the rivers your song flows
Embracing all the pale dawns
When I wept alone
Thinking you’re gone

A silver dwell, one smile so dear
Call of cold dew, that glance so clear
I lose myself in deep mirror of icy-blue eyes
Taken by the first sight of the one who walks in the night

Sundown awakens the dream
Where memory flows with a beautiful scene
Of silent wind, crystal song and whispering sea…
