Upon the world still sleeping
It rests beyond the sky of fantasy that fades
Beneath sundown’s embrace
Cradle of the world is rocking
On quivering waves stroking
The strings of dreamy soul
On wings of feathers dark I fly above the clouds
Singing through wind’s song’s sounds
And lost myself above the midnight skies
The stars reflect within those velvet eyes
Of eternal darkness
It rests within from first days of the world
It flames and burns with one silent word
Upon this heart of fire
I seek the light ever far in darkness’ bound
Within every its dumb sound
The void calls me whispering of undying desire
And I’m falling…
To search forever more
Above the voids and far beyond the sea
In the heart of Aman and far Valinor
I lose myself for the flame I’ve found within
That flame of desired soul
A soul of fire should forever belong to the one
The greatest among them all
Who rises in might after falling down
To fly higher and follow the one call
Far beyond you shall dwell
Imperishable fire of mine
I won’t send my farewell
As I know we will meet again
Save forever my name
