Restless Wandering

There was a tale of unseen land
Where dwells ever spring in eternal bloom
There was a legend unheard
Lines sung through silver sparks of gloom

There was the one
Who knew more than a story forlorn

Times cascade down upon the earth
Where left no grass
Dead slopes of frozen ground and heather burnt
No light of old stars

You see the dream
A song sung through the darkest sea
Of midnight sky untouched b a sin

You walk these lands of eternal spring
Singing the tale of years never seen
I hear your song listening to each verse so deep
Though I fear the path will take me too far
From you, my love

North or South
No matter how far
Far East or West
Wandering without rest
I will stride through tides and time
To find you, heart of mine

Flames are burning me Turning each day in cold ashes
Every night I long for thee
Counting moments, long years

Life is a way, but endless
Youth is fading and careless
But heart that loves will never betray the dearest prayers
