River Of Dreams

Long empty shores washed by
Your waters quivering in silent lullaby
Waves of pure silver
Are calling back where dawns wither

Where soul flows and mind is blind
Where heart knows the lie

You whisper with the wind
You sing through eternal sleep
Your waters are dark and deep
Though healing and sweet
Falling into the Great Sea
You, River of Dreams

Soothing song coils around me
Drying my tears, taking all fears
Your cure lies deeper than sin

I am a thrill, fear and lost tear
I, a star fallen from high midnight sky
Longing for pure waters crystal clear
Where soul floats and heart sees the lie

You, my River of Dreams
Take me away with your waves
Soothe me with your curing embrace
I long for those wings
You had once with me
Before the downfall, before the birth of the world
