Unsung Songs

The white ship floated above the sky
So far
The stone, one of three, brighter than a star
Shone upon the mast

Midnight sinks deep in golden glow
Where silence drowns
Deep in the sea forlorn
Where dwells the only path to follow

No verse will dwell twice
No light will burn in lackluster eyes
All songs are forever silent meant to be sung just once

Midnight sinks deep in golden glow
Of ever lost heart
Where silence drowns
In eternal dark
Deep in the sea forlorn
Of songs yet unsung
Where dwells the only path to follow

I know the road you chose
I heard the tale of betrayer, the rebel one
Though there was forever only one road

I know the tale are true
The forgotten ones
As the first ever dew
Awe of unsung songs
I still hear in you
