Snowfall

Tell me everything’s fine
Tell me the world isn’t falling
Say that everything’d be alright

Say that it’s all a dream
Say it’s only a memory

Like a snowfall
It paints the world
With white so cold
With days so young
And floating dreams
Lonesome hopes

Like a downfall
It tempts with a call
Ages dark and long
Dwells with a snowfall song
Upon the memories
Gone and yet unborn

You dream and I see your dreams
You desire and I feel your passion
Like a lost tale, mirror of old stories
I seek and see deep compassion
Within your eyes, a door of memory

With snowflakes we walk
In magic white dance we flow
You sing an ancient song
As we enter the world of memories old
