300 Years

Three hundred years
Until the fall
And rise again

Three hundred years
Until the end
And new beginning
Another life without fears
Three hundred years

Before a fall down from the high
Long road from light into the dark
Long years to suffocate in loneliness
Eternity in ever night is endless

We fall to know
We call to hear
We cry to feel
Through the memory
We see
Through the years
We live
Breathing pain and joy
To cry and hear the call

We love to break this ice
Frozen deep inside
We look through the past
To feel that it wasn’t for us

We walk away so far
To relieve the pain of heart
We run away
From memories that haunt us

Three hundred years
I was alone
With hope in loneliness
Three hundred years
I walked along
The shore with emptiness
So deep I couldn’t feel
I couldn’t see, not I could breathe

Three hundred years of loneliness and despair
Three hundred years of silent tears unfair

From afar flows a song
I hear again the same lullaby
You sang once before the fall
When we could still fly

Three hundred years of agony are gone
As you are now back home

Three hundred years of loneliness and despair
Three hundred years of silent tears unfair
Three hundred years of pain are now over, I swear
As you are here, in my arms, now and forever
