Covering with white this pale grey dawn
Somewhere afar
In the northern dark sky
Snowstorm hides the stars
Upon the mountains high
Beyond the shore of blessed realm of light
Where golden dawns forever rise
Somewhere beneath the rim
Where light is pale and dim
Snowstorm showers upon high mountains of the North
Falling upon the frozen shore
Upon white blanket of snow
Darkens great figure on high peak
In the veil of light and glow
He looks at the sea and sings
Of lost beauty in the darkness of the Void
Of light and dark, of fire and ice
He sings and great waves rise
And fall back returning to the sea
Snow glitters in golden light of new dawn
Upon the edge of still unveiled world
Beyond the seashore of blessed hope
Somewhere afar
Where heart dwells higher than northern stars
Where a song flows through pale dawn to reach the shore
Awaiting forever more
