Darkness

Darkness they see
Where we dwell in light
In purity infinite
We surf and dive

Darkness they feel
In our rejoice
Upon the starlit scene
Of greatest remorse
They never knew deep

Within the dark a spark of light lives
Shining at night upon the memory asleep
I sing of stars and starlit glow
So dear and bright within that flow
Of dreamless bound forever entwined
Fly you are I

Darkness they call
What they see within
The night, the faded pale dawn
Like stars are unseen
I wonder how they see the light
If in the white of glow they are all blind

Beyond the stream of starlight we sing
Dancing like in a dream
The beautiful one so dear
You see that glow within
The same sparkling in me
As we fly upon the sky of velvet blue
On dark silver wings I see the flight of you
