Long, Long Ago

The light dies upon crimson rim
Reality withers broken by another dream
Sung to me by dark coils of seduction

Drop by drop
Time passes by
As once so long, long ago
Singing to the sky
Of that forlorn life

Words flow now from parted lips
With sweet sighs to burn lust within
Aflame dwells now your passion

Drop by drop
Time passes by
And once again I hear the call
Of that forgotten song
That flows with light
And scene of one summer night
You sang then to me at the edge of the world
Memories entwine in one now

Drop by drop
Time passes by
As once so long, long ago
We sing to the sky
Turning loose our love to fly
We sing and pray for that life
We used to have once long, long ago
