Long Lost World

You hear the song
Pure like first dawn
Deep like the sea
Quivering within

Upon sunrise path you see
The light of myriads of stars
Within that silence I dream
Of years forever gone
Now left only faded grass
A book and a wish within
So deep so no one could see, nor feel
That world is long forlorn

A nightingale sings
Brings dawn upon its wings
Though no one could know
The truth of a longing song

We are but a silent chords
From another symphony
From a long lost world
Where we could still dream
Where wishes are real
And heart song sounds so clear
Where love is never a memory

We dream now together
Of that long lost world
Just know, I hold you forever
And wouldn’t let you go
