Trapped Light

Trapped for light
Pure in silence it dwells
Within innocent white
Forever hides and remains

Beyond the velvet touch of the night
Stars sing still
Beneath the melody of rain and dreams
Combined once again at one
Deep in restless heart

It rests within a fleeting sleep
Fading in a memory’s maze
Bound still upon a dream
Of ever lost days

Now song flows
Through wind that blows
From north to south
We fly on wings of love
High above the grey clouds to see
The starlit sky like in a dream

Both restless hearts and souls in maze
