Beyond the rim of real
I’m always here
For you to be near
I was with you when none could be
Guarding your sleep
Taking all nightmares away
I was there for you, by your side
Guiding you to the light
Believing one day
You will remember me
Paths went too far
Writing both souls apart
Just once to make them entwine
Yours and mine
One call to rewrite the destiny
Or it’s but another coil of fate
The one to trust and believe
I was loyal and naïve to face
The real was never what it seemed
One night changed it all
I was there for you but for what?
To feel how blood turns ice cold
Betrayal in this sick smile
And years of trust turn into fake masquerade
Veiled still rotten grace upon rusting façade
I called your name
But there was only pain
Long months now passed
And you are kneeling silently weeping
I see now your heart
And want to believe it’s real
I want to believe you’re now alright
I want to believe that you are now real
That there is no game and it’s just like once
When there were only two of us
In our own world just you and me
